I always return to this amazing place. The staff helped me with adaptors on my first visit. It has free parking, luggage storage, outdoor dining, welcome drink, coffee shop, picnic area. Going back for Easter! No regrets.

Stayed at a campsite with a shared kitchen. Loved pretending to be a master chef while making instant noodles. So convenient! The garden was great for waving at the mosquitoes.
Pity there wasn't a mosquito repellent superpower included with the accommodation. Those little bloodsuckers were relentless!

I recently stayed at Retreat Camp Mahoroba for a weekend getaway. The reception area had a stunning view, and the receptionists were friendly and spoke English. Despite my initial concern about shared bathrooms, they were spotless and comfortable. The room was well-equipped with features like air conditioning, air purifier, and cozy blankets. The highlight was the mesmerizing view of Mount Fuji.
I recommend this hotel.

Retreat Camp Mahoroba offers a stunning view of Mt. Fuji and provides a helpful shuttle service to and from the nearby station. the tents are well, equipped with modern amenities like cutting, edge toilets, making for a comfortable stay. the spacious villas come with a fully, furnished kitchenette, allowing guests to cook their own meals and enjoy a BBQ on the terrace.
Some guests mentioned difficulties in finding their villa, as it is located further down the mountain from the check, in/out counter.

The view of the lake and Mt. Fuji was absolutely breathtaking. I loved being able to sit by the fireplace at night and have a campfire. the private onsen with a jacuzzi and tent sauna was a luxurious bonus. Plus, the cherry blossoms added a beautiful touch to the surroundings.
That there was no pick-up service from the station, even though I had checked beforehand. when I arrived, the staff didn't lead me to my room and it was difficult to find in the dark.

We had a fantastic stay at Retreat Camp Mahoroba. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, adding to the relaxed vibe of the camp. We were even given a lift into town by one of the staff members, which was much appreciated. the views of Mount Fuji were absolutely stunning, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere. Our accommodation was comfortable and clean, and we loved the little van selling drinks. the honesty bar for drinks when the reception was closed was a nice touch. it was a wonderful experience in a beautiful and tranquil setting. Cons: Couldn't find any faults at all! 😊.
